Acting & |
Christina enjoys offering students of all ages & levels fresh & exciting workshop experiences. From fantastic young beginners (children & teens) to seasoned students she likes to provide her students with various perspective from a number of industry professional & arts educators. Recently Christina invited acclaimed Casting Director Ric Riordan to her Acting 4: Career Class so her advanced students could hear from the casting perspective. In the Fall she invited students to the Hamilton Film Festival Mock Audition process with award winning filmmaker, composer & President of the Hamilton Film Festival, Nathan Fleet. This Summer's "Actor's Retreat" One day Intensive was a hot one but with the help of some improv, the day was transforming. Discussions of the performer as a whole being and how he/she prepares behaviourally for their performance was insightful to the actor's process as well as examining the vital importance of learning to let go and how vulnerability, if we give ourselves permission, can create outstanding moments in the work. Our imaginations were fueled exploring our inner child artists as well as had the pleasure of good friend Geri Hall from "This Hour Has 22 Minutes" Skype in for a incredible hour of Q & A (and hilarious stories) about the industry and career building from any level of this fascinating profession. |

Christina feels strongly about the art of improvisation & using it as a key communication tool to balance office cultures/energies, conquer social fears/hurdles to strengthening professional teams & their development. |
